In today’s episode, we interview Karina Robinson, who is a doula with Type 1 diabetes, and is a designer of a course for diabetes education for doulas and mothers. We talk about Gestational diabetes and how it can indicate or lead to Type 2 diabetes, as well as how it can affect birth and the precautions you should take accordingly. We discuss the causes and effects of Type 1 diabetes, illustrating with some of Karina’s experiences.
